Natural Stone Maintenance and Care
Natural stones are beautiful and unique, every stone will be different as it is made in nature. Natural stone countertops will be a porous meaning that liquids can get into the pores of the stone. It is best to clean the surface with warm water and neutral detergents with a soft cloth. You can also choose to seal the stone to reduce staining. We recommend to clean up any spills quickly and make sure to leave the surface dry as moisture can leave films on the countertop.
Preventing scratches & Stains
You should not ever set hot cooking tools or pots and pans directly on the surface or cut food directly on the surface as it will scratch. Acidic food or liquids and alcohol can dull the surface of the counter so be careful with spills and do not leave them directly on the counter.
